Thanks for your feedback. In addition please let me now the possible reasons for data corruption necessary for Quick Access. I'm trying to understand what you're trying to say regarding the hierarchy tree expanding in the same location as the specific folder. Could you provide a screenshot of the File Explorer window that's showing this behavior? Regarding the data corruption, Quick access gets its data from three different folder locations: Recent items, AutomaticDestinations, and CustomDestinations.
This means that if a certain folder location, which in your case was AutomaticDestinations, isn't working how it's supposed to, or is possibly corrupted, then Quick access won't work as well because it is not able to get the data that it needs from the folder location. The solution provided by Aileen clears these folder locations, hence, restoring Quick access back to default and rid of any corrupted data.

The step that we missed is to run the Command Prompt in Administrator. Once it's done, the command should be able to proceed now. Should there be more, please feel free to get back to us.
Best regards. This site in other languages x.
